No two of these handsewn notebooks by Tracey Bush are the same! The dark blue Khadi covers are tied using hemp string on luggage tags which are rubber-stamped with an image of the 'Glanville Fritillary'.
The Glanville Fritiallry is one of Britain's rarest butterflies. It is named after Eleanor Glanville c. 1651-1709 whose family contested her will under the grounds that 'no-one not deprived of their senses should go in pursuit of butterflyes'.
The notebook has 14 pages, including lined paper, plain paper, handmade Khadi paper from India, a decorative sheet, and a glassine envelope containing a single handcut butterfly (each different)
